So ist es den meisten von uns bei ihrem ersten NA-Meeting gegangen! Falls du dir nicht sicher bist, ob du s\u00fcchtig bist oder nicht, mach dir erstmal keine Gedanken dar\u00fcber. F\u00fcr viele war dies erst nach den ersten Meetings etwas klarer. Es gibt bestimmte Meetings (sog. \u201eoffene\u201c Meetings), an denen neben S\u00fcchtigen auch Angeh\u00f6rige, Freunde oder sonstige interessierte Menschen teilnehmen k\u00f6nnen. Meetings fangen meist p\u00fcnktlich an und es ist angenehmer, wenn man gen\u00fcgend Zeit hat, sich in Ruhe einen Platz zu suchen. Viele Meetings bieten auch kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee an, den du dir gerne nehmen kannst.<\/p>\n<p>Es kann sein, dass dich jemand anspricht oder fragt, ob du schon mal bei NA warst. Du kannst antworten, was du willst \u2013 dass du NA noch nicht kennst, dass du dir gerne mal ein Meeting ansehen willst, oder dass du sehen willst, ob NA was f\u00fcr dich ist \u2013 du bist auf jeden Fall immer herzlich willkommen. Vermutlich wirst du auch nach deinem Vornamen gefragt. Wichtig ist, dass du bei einem NA-Meeting nichts sagen musst, falls du das nicht willst.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e4ufig begr\u00fc\u00dfen und verabschieden sich die Mitglieder bei einem Meeting mit einer herzlichen Umarmung. Wenn dir jemand eine Umarmung anbietet, entscheide selbst, ob du das m\u00f6chtest oder nicht. Dann sprechen die meisten Teilnehmer*innen gemeinsam das <i>Gelassenheitsgebet<\/i>. Niemand wird von dir erwarten, dass du den Text kennst oder mitsprechen kannst oder m\u00f6chtest.<\/p>\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend wird eine Anzahl von Texten vorgelesen, die entweder herumgegeben werden oder die auf den Tischen liegen. Wenn du lieber nicht vorlesen m\u00f6chtest, kannst du die Texte gerne liegenlassen oder an jemand anderen weitergeben.<\/p>\n<p>In manchen Meetings gibt es eine kurze Vorstellungsrunde oder es wird gefragt, ob G\u00e4ste oder Neue da sind. Was du hier sagen willst, entscheidest du selbst \u2013 du kannst deinen Vornamen nennen und sagen, dass du ein*e Besucher*in bist oder dich auch als S\u00fcchtige*r vorstellen. Auch wenn du dich als S\u00fcchtige*r vorstellst, gehst du damit selbstverst\u00e4ndlich keinerlei Verpflichtungen ein. Die Mitgliedschaft bei NA ist vollkommen freiwillig und beruht auf deiner pers\u00f6nlichen Entscheidung.<\/p>\n<p>Zu Beginn des Meetings wird \u00fcblicherweise auch kurz der Ablauf des Meetings erkl\u00e4rt sowie einige allgemeine Informationen \u00fcber NA, \u00fcber die Gruppe und f\u00fcr die neueren Mitglieder gegeben.<\/p>\n<p>Manche Meetings haben Sprecher*innen, bei anderen wird ein Thema vorgestellt oder es wird ein Text aus der NA-Literatur vorgelesen. Dann beginnen die Teilnehmer*innen sich durch eigene Redebeitr\u00e4ge am Meeting zu beteiligen, dies wird bei NA auch \u201eTeilen\u201c genannt. Dies wird in den Meetings unterschiedlich geregelt, durch Handzeichen, Wortliste, als Rundgespr\u00e4ch usw. Oft gibt es eine Redezeitempfehlung, damit viele Mitglieder die M\u00f6glichkeit haben, etwas zu sagen. Ob du etwas von dir erz\u00e4hlen m\u00f6chtest, entscheidest du selbst. Es d\u00fcrfen aber in der Regel nur S\u00fcchtige teilen; wenn du als Gast dabei bist, kannst du nach dem Meeting gerne Fragen stellen. Wichtig ist, dass jede*r nur von sich selbst und den eigenen Erfahrungen spricht und keine Kommentare und Ratschl\u00e4ge gibt. Manchmal wird auch noch ein kurzer Text gelesen. Gerne wird ein sogenannter \u201eCleanzeit-Countdown\u201c gemacht, bei dem die Anwesenden ihre Cleanzeit nennen oder Clean-Geburtstage feiern k\u00f6nnen, wenn sie m\u00f6chten. Dies dient nicht der Kontrolle, sondern um zu w\u00fcrdigen und zu feiern, dass es m\u00f6glich ist, auch l\u00e4ngere Zeit clean zu bleiben. Als neues Mitglied wird dir hier m\u00f6glicherweise ein Willkommens-Chip \u00fcberreicht.<\/p>\n<p>Auch geht meist gegen Ende des Meetings eine Spendendose herum, in die die Mitglieder freiwillig einige M\u00fcnzen als Spende nach eigenem Ermessen hineingeben. Als neues Mitglied oder als Gast wirst du gebeten, die Spendendose weiterzugeben. Wenn du regelm\u00e4\u00dfig kommen m\u00f6chtest, dann kannst du k\u00fcnftig gerne etwas beitragen. Die Spenden werden dazu verwendet, die Kosten des Meetings wie Miete, Literatur, Getr\u00e4nke, Meetinglisten und weitere Dienste zu finanzieren.<\/p>\n<p>Schlie\u00dflich wird noch auf die Anonymit\u00e4t hingewiesen und gebeten, nicht weiterzuerz\u00e4hlen, was in dem Meeting gesagt wurde und wer anwesend war. Es liegt h\u00e4ufig auch NA-Literatur aus, Faltbl\u00e4tter und B\u00fccher, die das NA-Programm n\u00e4her erkl\u00e4ren. Die Faltbl\u00e4tter sind in der Regel kostenlos, die B\u00fccher stehen zum Verkauf.<\/p>\n<p>Die meisten NA-Mitglieder sind freundlich und aufgeschlossen, denn viele k\u00f6nnen sich an ihr eigenes erstes Meeting erinnern und werden dir helfen wollen, damit du dich wohl f\u00fchlst. Es ist aber durchaus m\u00f6glich, dass du dich bei deinem ersten NA-Meeting unwohl oder fremd f\u00fchlst. Erfahrungsgem\u00e4\u00df dauert es ein paar Meetingsbesuche, bis du einige Teilnehmer*innen pers\u00f6nlich kennst und beginnst, dich auf die Unterst\u00fctzung und das Teilen im Meeting zu freuen.
